Terms & Condtions
Welcome to SD Transportation Services. By using our website and booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Services Offered
We provide professional services including house moves, bulky item collections, house clearances, and cleaning services. Specific details for each service will be outlined in the agreement during the booking process.
2. Booking and Payment
- Bookings must be made in advance, subject to availability.
- A deposit may be required to secure your booking. This will be outlined at the time of booking.
- Payment must be completed in full before or on the day of the service unless otherwise agreed.
3. Discounts
- Discounts, including the 10% offered to Emergency Services and Armed Forces personnel, apply only to the base cost of services and do not cover additional charges (e.g., packing materials or special handling).
- Proof of eligibility is required to claim discounts (e.g., Blue Light Card, military ID).
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service date.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance may incur a cancellation fee.
5. Liability
- We take every precaution to ensure your belongings are handled with care. In the rare event of damage or loss, claims must be reported immediately and within 24 hours of the service.
- SD Transportation Services is covered by Goods in Transit Insurance for your peace of mind.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must ensure that all items for collection or relocation are ready and properly packed, unless packing services have been arranged.
- Clear access to the property must be provided to allow our team to complete the service efficiently.
7. Privacy and Data Protection
- Personal information provided during booking will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We will never share your details with third parties without consent.
8. Changes to Services
- Any changes to bookings (e.g., date, time, or scope of service) must be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Changes may be subject to additional charges.
9. Force Majeure
SD Transportation Services is not liable for delays or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, road closures, or other unforeseen events.
